  • Keynote Address: Cardinal Walter Kasper, President of the Pontifical Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews.
  • Rev. Timothy Lannon, SJ, president of Saint Joseph's University, awards the Doctor of Sacred Theology degree to Cardinal Kasper.
6:15 p.m.   Public reception
7 p.m.  
  • Dinner: CCJR members with the Board of the Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations of Saint Joseph's University.
  • During the meal there will be a panel discussion on the importance of Nostra Aetate after 45 years.Panelists: TBA
8:30 p.m.  
  • Welcome of Cardinal Walter Kasper by the CCJR membership and the Board of Directors of the Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations. .
  • Presentation of the third Shevet Achim Award to Rev. Dr. Franklin Sherman.

CCJR meeting discusses current topics in Christian-Jewish relations; includes Cardinal Kasper.
12 noon  

Closing lunch with Cardinal Kasper.
